Worcester State University

Worcester State University champions academic excellence in a diverse, student-centered environment that fosters scholarship, creativity, and global awareness. We prepare our students to take on real-world challenges with portfolios that include critical-thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, communication, technology, and global-awareness skills. Each student is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for lives of professional accomplishment, engaged citizenship, and intellectual growth.

Worcester State works to ensure that both staff and students—online and on campus, traditional and non-traditional, undergraduate and graduate, part-time and full-time—will all feel embraced, equipped, and empowered to do and be their best.

Worcester State University offers 59 undergraduate majors and minors; over 29 master’s degrees, post-baccalaureate certificates, and graduate programs; and access to online degree programs and professional training. Our accreditation by the New England Commission on Higher Education, Inc. (NECHE), formerly the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), demonstrates that our liberal arts and sciences curriculum meets or exceeds its criteria for assessment of quality.
