Welcome to the Psychology Department
Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes that can be approached from a broad spectrum of perspectives/sub-fields. Faculty interests span a wide range of areas from development, aging and health to neurological and cognitive processing to counseling and clinical interests.
The Psychology Department at WSC is composed of 14 faculty members with diverse interests within the sub-fields of psychology. Our faculty members teach a variety of courses including those that are required for majors and their own specialties. In addition, many faculty are active researchers, counselors and community members.
